I'm a firm believer that our small rural towns are amazing... and full of so much potential! Over the years it's sad to see that we don't support our rural business' as we used to. It's easier to drive to Target or Raleys to get our weekly items, rather than spending our time & money locally.
How can we take the best part of our roots and freshen them up to work for today's lifestyle? I certainly don't know the answer to that question but it does make you wonder what other communities are doing to rebuild their downtown city centers? Can our little commercial district in Biggs be revitalized?
Recently I guest blogged a story on our building with the website Rural Revival discussing our building and how it felt through the process of purchasing it.
There are two parts and the links are below:
Rural Revival is an amazing website and I love how they are inspiring small rural America back to being successful communities one idea at a time!
